Who would you have picked as the winner, and how would you have made your decision? These are all perfectly good answers, but only one of them has any specificity. The qualities in question which the contestants chose were drive and determination, passion, and confidence. Who is to say which of these qualities is superior?
It was Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters who was crowned Miss Universe 2017 following her answer about confidence and overcoming fears.
While she was an excellent choice, you can see from this example just how subjective these judgments are.

Tons of hype on Miss Russia Yulia Polyachikhina, who is an 18-year-old high school graduate. However, I don't see an 18-year-old winning this competition. Money will be flowing in on the 23-year-old Miss Thailand since she gets this event in her backyard, but just because you host the event doesn't give you the edge when it comes to the Miss Universe pageant. I believe the 'Over' 23.5 is the 'Best Bet' on the board, and it wouldn't shock me to see someone 25 years old taking the crown.
